But this is partially being corrected, gradually: initially, the player had to complete all the quests.
Now the game's plot is moving towards leaving only the first quests of the main characters mandatory, for example, if you do not sign a contract with Domenea, then her plot line will disappear from the game. But the final version is expected closer to the final version of the game.
