Nice game! As lennon said, the level design could have been more forgiving, there are a number of drops where it is impossible for the player to know there are spikes. A solution to this could be adding a look down feature, like in hollow knight. A thing that could make the day/night section more clear is having 3 visually different types of blocks, day blocks, night blocks and permanent blocks. As there are some points where that would have been a very useful distinction. Other than these slight issues great effort and thanks for participating in the jam!
