Hi,
Normally the battery life equals your current stamina, so if you have like 50 stamina it would mean very low battery life, so the night ends before time runs out.
If that's not the case, and you're sure that you start the night with full stamina (battery is filled up) then it might be a bug, of so please provide as much detail as possible.
