In fact, it shouldn't, during migration a backup of the save file is created, but I can't say where it is on Linux, for Windows it is the AppData folder. The only device I have with Linux is a Steam Deck, but there were no problems during testing.

I think I figured out what to do but not sure if this is good idea still I managed to do

If it works then why not, in theory you can just drop the old save file into a new folder, but I can't guarantee that it won't break the game, that's why I had to make some kind of migration system.

I just replaced it with extraction kind of worked without breaking the game
