When the dude come and checks on me i physically cannot press hide to hise or use the arrows on the side, what do I do?

You have to navigate to the bottom (click/tap down arrow twice) then at the bottom middle of the screen you should see a ninja Icon, when you press it your mc should hide under the bed.
