I’ve noticed that Day 3 sometimes plays out differently even when I make the exact same choices during replays. For example, in my first playthrough, Julian appeared first, but in later runs, it’s always Arthur. Similarly, sometimes the doctor invites me to the infirmary, but not always—even when my choices are identical.

Is this behavior random, a bug, or an intentional part of the game’s design? My current theory is that using the skip button might accidentally skip certain scene triggers, since I didn’t use it on my first playthrough and everything played out more smoothly. I’m not a programmer, so I’m unsure how likely that is.

Also, is there a guide that explains how to trigger different storylines or events?

Also i try to keep it vague so i didn't put the spoiler warning on top but if you think this is still to spoilery then i will delete it .

Hey,
only place that involves randomness is the dice game outcome. So it should always be the same as it just checks for certain values and we've not heard of similar issues before.
So perhaps some choice was picked different and that big was enough to shift it to a different outcome.

No guide though, no. The Discord's got a spoiler chat where occasionally you have people asking for some scenes and getting answers for that, but we don't plan on making a guide anytime soon (if ever).
