In the room where you can collect herbs, make sure to gather plenty of herbs to use during battle and equip the best gear possible. It's been a while since I made this part of the game, so I don’t remember everything exactly, but I believe the Flame Sword was the best weapon, and you should also be able to get some powerful armor there.

Go to the mural map on B2F → Get the Torch

Obtain the Magic Gloves

Enter B1F, and go to the top-left prison cell → Obtain the Sword

Go to the mural map on B2F → Get the Torch

Near the healing circle, pick up the Chains

On B1F, tie up the wolf

Clear the poison gas event using the orc barrels

Return to the area where the orcs were gathered → Receive Chainmail and Meat

Give the Meat to the tied-up wolf to get a Key

Use the Key on the unopened prison cell in the top-right area of B1F → Obtain the Heavy Armor
