[MonoGame] [Solo Dev] Seeking collaborators, creatives & cozy dev friends (artists, writers, musicians welcome!)

Hey! I’m a solo developer currently working on a cozy game built in MonoGame (C#) — something inspired by Stardew Valley, A Short Hike, and Spiritfarer. The project is several months in, and I've been steadily building systems, design, and world concepts.

It’s set on a post-tourism island that’s healing and slowly coming back to life. There’s no combat — just peaceful exploration, a community to rebuild, seasonal changes, light questing, and relationship systems. It's cozy, heartful, and calm.

Why I'm posting:

I'm not only looking to collaborate — I’d also love to meet other cozy-focused creatives, share our progress, support each other, and maybe even do game jams together.

I'm especially open to connecting with:

  • 🎨 Artists (pixel, concept, UI)

  • ✍️ Writers (dialogue, worldbuilding)

  • 🎶 Musicians / sound folks

  • 🧑‍💻 Devs (systems, tools, gameplay)

  • 💡 Anyone who’s building (or wants to build) something cozy, emotional, and creative

Whether you're looking for a team, jam partners, or just want some friendly feedback and dev chats — I’d love to connect.

I've set up a small Discord server

It’s a chill little spot for like-minded devs to hang out, talk shop, share ideas, and maybe team up on things.
Feel free to DM me for an invite or just reply here!

Thanks for reading — and wishing you lots of inspiration on your own journey 🌿

your discord link is broken...

Hey Dazza!

Thanks a ton for the heads-up about the broken Discord link — I’ve just updated it and sent you a friend request!

Your cozy fishing game sounds awesome, I’d definitely love to connect and bounce ideas around. Even if we’re using different engines, I’m sure we’ll have plenty of overlapping thoughts and fun design challenges to share.

Talk soon!
