Crouching (while falling) makes you  move faster because the idea was that you'd jump and then go into a crouch to bhop around rly fast, but then crouch has to make you move slower while jumping because being perma-crouched would look less cool  compared to the bunny hop motion (perhaps this insane).

Reloading is supposed to be cringe because pros refill the gun by putting bullets in hair but i keep forgetting to add enemies that shoot bullets.

"get all of these mechanics and interactables to work well together in one cohesive level" ive yet to find out if this (and making a good tutorial) is possible

I see. I think I kind of get what you're saying with the jumping -> crouch bhop movement. My criticism here then might be useless as I don't play movement focused games at all (and I never learned to bhop ;-;).

You can reload your gun by... What, getting shot in your hair? Am I understand this correctly?

And whether getting all those mechanics to work well together in a more cohesive level... Yeah I don't know either, but I think if you find more people who play fast-paced movement tech focused games like this their criticism along with your own intuition will naturally drive you to better gameplay and levels.

Looking forward to your next demo even if I suck at this game.
