lol I didn't know it was that easy to get I even posted in r/helpmefind on reddit about the game's code and I feel pretty stupid right now , but it was very fun to find and i enjoyed it so much and good luck with your remake which I'll definitely play!

I made finding Rumi Makes a Friend kind of convoluted, so don't feel stupid / bad! This was all almost 10 years ago and I was doing a lot of experimental stuff with RPG maker (see TGH, that one was weird lol).
There was a Youtuber who made a video on how to unlock it, but sadly it appears that their channel no longer exists. =\
As for the remake, I plan for it to go into some pretty interesting directions! The horror will go beyond more of a creepy pasta and into true psychological horror. I think it will be fun for those who have played / remember watching the original game to see the changes and where it goes, while also being unique and interesting to those who have never heard of it. Also more game play than just...walking through screens. :) lol.
