You have no idea how happy seeing your comment made me! Amidst the sickness I was dealing with and a rough start of the month, this was honestly just a ray of sunshine, if I'm allowed to be a bit dramatic haha!
It's actually really interesting that in ancient sources, you can see the story told more from Demeter's perspective (Homeric Hymn to Demeter is my main point of reference!) and yet nowadays people are more focused on Hades and Persephone as a love story- which is not bad, but I thought it'd be such a shame to let a tale of grief and the love of a mother to be cast aside!
It makes me really happy that you liked the characters, especially Demeter. I'm really trying to achieve a balance, making her likeable but allowing her to express all these more difficult and less pleasant emotions that come with the tragedy she's facing. Also about Poseidon, I swear every time I had to read that scene again for editing or playtesting I was in so much pain lmao, I may have done too good a job in making him uncomfortable ;p
I'm really excited to show more of the game, how the story will branch out and the changes that the characters will go through!!! I hope I will see you there when more is revealed :3c
