of course, though I have no clue how to send the file.

You could use a site like this one: https://ufile.io/

I only need your save file. And thanks!

Alright, here you go.

Oh wait, I should mention that the save is in the quest area, so if you need an earlier save I can grab one, though the closest one I would have to bring it up to speed a bit to have the quest.

I started up your save file with the public version 1.1.4 and it looked like this. Seems pretty bright.

You play on the most recent version 1.1.4, I assume?

I am playing on the most recent version, which means that this is a problem on my end somehow, thank you for checking, but also sorry for wasting your time on this.

That could be the case but you are not the first who reported a similiar problem. I would love to fix it but since I can't replicate it I have a hard time figuring out what the problem might be. I know that rpg maker games sometimes have a problem to run on specific graphic cards or very new system but the bugs produced by those are usually way more noticeable and also game breaking.

And no worries, you're welcome! I'm sorry that something like this is ruin the fun for you-_-

The problem could be from the software that I'm using the run the game, since I have been using the application called Joiplay to run it on an android device, most likely this could be the reason that certain variables aren't functioning correctly(specifically regarding light variables, as thinking back on it my ability to see when at night has been horrendous, especially since there wasn't any light coming from the player character), and since joiplay is a pretty popular application for running games on mobile I'd assume that some of the other individuals having this problem are using this app as well.

I figured out the issue, by using a different app that can play rpg maker mv games, I found out that when running the game with WebGL compatibility is the issue, turning that off fixes the issue.

Oh I see, that is great to hear and also good to know if someone in the future is reporting a similiar problem.  And yeah it sounds logical, if it is some kind of emulator it makes sense that it may cause graphical problems. It most likely has problems grabbing and loading the "visibility range image" and just turns it completely black, is my guess.

Rpg maker offer a option to also export the games in a mobile game format if I remember correctly, so it should be able to run natively on smartphones. I personally just never experimented with that feature and have tested it out.

But great to hear it works now : )

Yeah, and if someone is using joiplay and runs into it the specific way to fix it is to go to settings, html settings, and WebGL is right there to turn off.

Yes feel free to share, I can also look at that one!
