🎨 [ART] Looking for 3D Environment Artists – Psychological Horror Project in Unity

Hey everyone,

We're currently looking for talented 3D environment artists to join our ambitious psychological horror project called Devil’s Legacy, currently in development using Unity.

đź§  About the Project:

Devil’s Legacy is a narrative-driven, emotionally atmospheric horror experience focused on themes of trauma, guilt, and distorted reality. This is not your typical jumpscare-based horror — our goal is to create a deeply immersive and symbolically rich experience, with strong mood, storytelling, and exploration.

We’re currently in the demo phase and building out the first full environments. The overall world design is already in progress, and we’re now in need of artists who can help bring our environments to life in Unity — particularly with indoor areas and atmospheric room design.

  • A highly motivated and skilled team (programmers, writers, concept artists, sound designer, etc.)

  • Access to a large, organized library of 3D assets (interior kits, props, textures).

  • A new partnership with 3D.SK, a leading reference/asset team, who are supporting our project and granting us access to their assets on request.

  • A clear, structured demo breakdown and project vision document.

  • A strong emphasis on collaboration and creative freedom — we want your artistic voice to shine.

🔍 Who We’re Looking For:

  • Artists who can create or assemble realistic and moody indoor environments in Unity.

  • Someone with a strong sense of visual storytelling through architecture, lighting, and set dressing.

  • Experience with PBR workflows, Unity’s lighting system, and modular assets is a big plus.

  • Bonus if you're also comfortable with kitbashing and layout design based on existing references.

đź’ˇ A Note on Compensation:

This is a passion project being built with long-term vision. The team is currently working under the agreement of fair revenue share once we secure funding.
Our current plan is to:

  1. Release a high-quality demo to build interest and audience,

  2. Either pitch it to publishers or raise funds for full development.

We completely understand that this may not be ideal for everyone, especially experienced professionals. But if you’re excited by the vision and want to be part of something meaningful, this could be a great match.
