I'm ok with everything else (I think), but I'm afraid I still don't understand how to use the fox shrine and the talismans. "amplifies/dampens the power of a spirit" is too vague a description for me. How and when does doing either of them benefit me?
Talismans influence the body ratio of a possessor over time. A higher body ratio indicates a stronger body under their control. This also applies to bodies that Celica possesses. At a high body ratio, you can also expel the original spirit and sleep in their body. Some of Celica's hairstyles are unlocked if Nel or Elize have a high body ratio. Lastly, assigning talismans affects how easily you can break free from someone else's control and how often other characters interrupt to take turns in Celica's body.
Thank you. That's kind of what I was guessing, but the lack of direct feedback in use makes it hard to figure out exactly what is going on.
That it affects access to hairstyles is good to know too. I've only just gotten the Nel one, and wondered about others.
I'll have to experiment with it the next time I play.
