Out of all of this developer's games, this felt the "scariest" and the "most trippy" LOL from the start there's an overwhelming sense of dread and claustrophobia as you're stuck in the well - the mechanics of the well's walls moving as you look around yourself really felt almost indistinguishable from being in a 3D game?? and somehow the sound design has such an uncanny quality that really worms into your eardrums...

I really love how, even in this game where you have "lots of choices," it really funnels you into one choice - to take the deal. It really hammers home how Lia really has no choice in this situation LOL (and the animations are wonderful, as usual - I especially love the one that appears on a "new game plus," it's so trippy...)
When I got the choice "Did you take the deal?" and BOTH CHOICES ARE BLANK my immediate reaction was "dang things are really over for me..."
(Somehow the fact that all of the blanked out words don't actually appear in the history in this game makes the game even MORE scary...)
This game is absolutely stunning, as are the rest of this dev's games (this seems like the start to a very happy union 🌙)
