Yeah I ended up being very busy during the jom so I had to prioritise to get anything playable. Literally spend the last 2 days of the jam putting everything in unity and do all the coding. The plan was to star inside the house, where Ash would send out Ember/player on the first quest. Collecting Starlit Dew before the sun rises. And later to gather specific ingredients for a potion order they gotten from the adventure guild. THe potion crafting was suppose to happen in the second house and be more interacteble where the player need to prepare the ingrediends in the right way for the potion. There were suppose to be dialogue, quest tracker, and more full map, day-night cycle, and much more. I just ran out of time but I really love all the ideas i have for this game so I will continue working on it once im done with another projekt!

Also fun backstory for them that I do plan to add in a cutscene is that Ash bought a "mystery ingredient bundle", and in i was a random egg, she was gonna cook it for breakfust but it hatched before she could do it and thats how she became a mom xD
And Ember have affinity to fire magic that will be a useful thing in potion brewing and later on, maybe even joining the adventure guild o.o
