Thank you for playing the game! Which environment did you find too large, or was the entire level just too big?

After giving it some more thought, I’m not sure if the core issue is the environment being too large. I think my concerns stem more from the lack of visual cues indicating where to go next to progress the plot. In my opinion, it’s definitely possible to get away with an environment this size. However, after the first bell, I find myself feeling lost and unable to figure out the next steps.

This is one of the biggest issues I find when making games, as the developers, you have a clear vision of what the gameplay should entail, but players may not approach the game in the same way or may have different play styles that may result in a completely different gameplay experience than intended.

I have no clue what you lot were going for, so I’m probably not the best person to suggest improvements to solve these issues. However, on the top of my head, I think placing lighting more strategically within the cave system would help guide players. As I mentioned previously, the visuals are amazing, and they are pretty much what I would expect from a AAA game. However, I believe that the gameplay and user experience could benefit from further refinement.

First off, thank you so much for taking the time to give such great feedback! Yeah, adding better lighting and some sound or visual cues is a really good idea. We're still working on improving the game, and this feedback will be a huge help.
