thanks for playing :) the choices you make sets your character's archetype/personality, and some choices do not align with all the archetypes because they are hurting in different ways.
your character will grow and heal throughout the game, though, so your Dragon Commander can become Mathias's friend in later chapters ^^ if you want a character who is always worried about Mathias and doesn't want to hurt him, i suggest choosing the kinder/softer options so you'll have a sweeter DC. ♥
