This is an absolute stellar entry, really enjoyed this one a lot! Hard to come up with a reason not to give it 5 stars xD

The gameplay is incredibly solid, feels incredibly satisfying and fun, it's hard as hell, but I can tell it's insanely fun to get better at. I only managed to get to the first moving platform, after giving it a good 10-20 runs or so, but I can't penalize it for difficulty too much, I get the feeling xD

The visuals/art are incredible, the color pallete pops really well, and all of the threats are immediately apparent. I really love pixel perfect visuals, and this game absolutely nails it. Not to mention, the glitch visuals are so incredible, I've tried to do that type of stuff before, and never quite succeeded, it's tough. It made me audibly go "Oh... Oh, no, I don't like that.." Which feels perfect xD

The audio fits the game super well, actions feel like they have good impact behind them, and the music goes hard. I always find making music that rides the balance between too boring or too tiring to listen to is really difficult, and this nails it, while perfectly fitting the vibe. Really nice work! ^^

The theme is the only part I wasn't a massive fan of, because it felt a *little* tacked on top of everything; It's alright, and definitely present, but it feels like you could remove the screenwrapping entirely, and the game wouldn't change too much, so it's definitely on the weaker side for me.

To be honest, the only feedback I really have to give is that some extra I-frames after taking damage would help things a lot. It tends to feel like if you get damaged, when you get knocked around, there's just nothing you can do to prevent yourself from dying, if the luck happens to land that way, which just doesn't feel very fun. Having the I-frames last long enough for you to get your bearings again feels like it'd help the low-skill player experience, while the stun/knockaround still means that for a high-level player, it's still always faster to avoid getting hit. That's just my two cents ^^

Amazing job, and hats off to your team! I'm expecting to see y'all in the top 3! <3

Thank you so much for the detailed response! I agree that a more nuanced loop mechanic would bet best, but I'm really glad you enjoyed the game!
