Great entry! I really liked the models and the overall atmosphere in the asylum. It was quite enjoyable to walk around and explore the structure. Some of the jumpscares definitely got me! While exploring, I discovered the hidden sprint feature that isn’t mentioned in your control scheme on the itch page, which made searching for the key much easier.
As VIPER mentioned, I also felt that the user interface can pull you out of the experience a bit. The menus also don’t work as the game doesn’t uncapture the mouse cursor on pause. Additionally, I found that the look-up/down rotation was clamped too much in the downward direction, making it feel a bit awkward to look around. I also wanted to point out that it seems like the player collider increases when the flashlight is equipped. There were some doors I could only exit through when my flashlight was turned off. Overall, great work!
