Played it last night:

My thoughts/Review ig (usually contains spoilers):

*WARNING*...Im finna yap...

Im gonna preface this by saying I never played the first one. I looked for it on your game page and didnt see it so I assumed it was erased off the face of the earth (not really it's just that at the time  I didnt have time to fully look lol). I'll check steam as I think Ive seen your other works on steam? Ill for sure check out the upcoming game (assuming it isnt out yet I havent checked yet).

Anyways, onto the game at hand. I personally do like the game A LOT. I struggled to explain why I liked this sort of game in the outro but I do lol. There is something about having an actual overall objective in a horror game that makes my efforts feel all the more satisfying. In this case, the goal was simple...but also not haha. Do some puzzles and learn a bit of language you may not be native to, unlock the door, and escape. I like the added touch of having to find the cog for the one room (think it was the Japanese one), that was pretty cool. When I first found out it was missing Im not gonna lie, I was slightly upset as I thought the map was gonna be huge. I guess you can say I was slightly overwelmed (as I often am when I first start a horror game lmao).

I went in thinking I would sit at a desk and answer questions all game, and ofc if I got em wrong there would be consequences. Idk why I assumed this as I literally looked at the previews before playing lol. Red bird starts off wild which shocked me. Bro was like "yeah uhm, you have about 10 seconds to find a classroom before I start tripping" and Im just like 😳. Then the game starts. I WILL admit the room with the blue bird scared the ABSOLUTE shit out of me. I was also being stupid in that room as I confused what looks like a pig with what I actually needed, A bear.

All in All 5/5 in my book. Keep it up, ill see about finding the first game a little later and of course play it on the channel. The game teased at the end of this game i'll give a look as well. Hopefully we get another sequel for this as my only critism is that I wanted the game longer (I was lowkey having fun 😆). Thanks for making the game, Peace!

Hey Vib3! Thanks so much for the very detailed review. Btw, the yaps are always welcome and are in fact great to see! That's what our community is all about hahaha. Loved your video too.

Here is the first game https://thecodingsloth.itch.io/unolingo. I still developed that one, but it was released under thecodingsloths page. He attached a video on his page if you want to know why and how that came to be.

Thanks so much again for playing. Can' t wait for you to checkout my next game.

Ayyyeee! Thanks for the reply. I'll sub to the Patreon come payday, can't wait to see the new game! I'll give the first Unolingo game a go sometime in the week to come, perhaps even next weekend. I'll probably do "Turn The Tv Off" as well just cuz why not! Take Care!
