(edited for more comprehensive comment) got all ends! thanks to the walkthrough. andd i prefer Rudy here out of the two for the best balanced partner choice, a sucker for casual tsun like him, warmed up to him quick even when not in his route, he really shone through to be quick to help if mc felt some wrong flags about Nix. adorably cute on earning that melting pliant side of him (also both surprises were nicee, Rudy got it in him to be taking advantage of that maid costume 👀 he was very into it just for mc, my guy’s smitten lol).
and then there was the pathetic loser (affectionate) Nix, he was the definition of trying his best, a lil confused but got the spirit yan. getting a glimpse and reveal of how he did those acts on impulse and almost clumsily gave it a realistic sense of raw human instinct. usually i loved me some dose of yandere too (Folder still top fav), though Nix was more of the clingy-cute type that sorta just reminded me of my toxic old ex-friends lol but bonus (and damn-delicious) points for his sub side to the mc. Done right bold/dominant MC gave me a bitta boost of confidence, and the variety of plot progress accentuated the rich and depth in those wild flavour of choices you could pick, maintained respectful tone/suitable boundaries with consent for either party (like the maid costume agreement, living adjustments and such) or the proper strictness to hold your own ground against OR had him submitted under your agreements.
