question about the main character
why not make the main character since we can change its name at a point be like an anonimous figure that represents the player over the main character of the series? i feel it kinda breaks the inmersion and just feels like we are playing the same guy
wouldnt it be best to choose to either be in this case Straight up steven and have the sprites show him or if we decided to name it have the MC be an anonimous or customisable figure?

However, they all had a simple problem: They are not Steven, or rather, they are just human. What I mean by that is that Steven can do everything you would need to do in these kind of games. He can shapeshift, meaning that his dick can be whatever size he wants, he can make himself bigger, he is also incredibly strong, being a diamond. He is also connected to everything and very social, so you don't need to find many excuses for him to move around or get to know people, go to homeworld, which a regular human probably wouldn't (maybe in Future they can, but we also wanted to span the OC show).
For the diamonds, we didn't want to just shrink the diamond, we wanted to keep them big, but, in this case, Steven can just make himself bigger, plus there's the RPG element that, although not implemented yet, a combat system could only be done by someone with powers, which limits the options by a lot.
Mind you, you can't change Steven's name here in Gem Domination, though. Even if you could change the name and be an anonymous figure, the whole story would have to be rewritten to accommodate this.
it could also be an ANON gem character that ends up taking place as steven or steven himself reimagining as someone else what i mean is that could be anything else than just straight up looking like steven in the cgs all the time the story could be the same as an AU where the player takes place of steven
just an idea tho it could make it a bit more immersive as to day, could even be an future update when you finish the game
