I love this solo tool-kit so far! It's been great for most games I've tried lately. However, I tried to run a quick game using just this solo engine and I was a little confused about how combat worked. If you're attacking, it says to roll 2d6, but what are you rolling against? Was it the monsters ACC (I wasn't sure what that was supposed to be)?

ah that’s my bad. I’m adapting these rules from Kal-Arath, one of my favorite systems. The quick and dirty answer is that you’re not rolling “against” anything. If you beat an 8, that’s you succeeding on your attack. Enemies can have 1, 2, or 3 armor that can absorb incoming damage. A dragon for example would have 3 armor while a regular leather armor bandit would have 1 and a goblin has none. If you want, you can set the DC based on the enemy. So if you’re fighting something that’s normal you’re trying to beat an 8, if you’re fighting something weak or easy, then beat a 6, and if it’s tough and dangerous u gotta beat a 10 instead. I think I’ll revisit and clarify these rules for version 2.0, (coming soon)
Ah, gotcha! That's a pretty simple way to do it. Yeah, I haven't gotten around to trying Kal-Arath yet, but it's on the list. Thanks for the (super quick, wow!) answer. I'll be keeping a look out for 2.0 too, cause like I said, I've really been loving this solo kit! It's so compact and easy to follow.
