GAMEPLAY: The day length and the meditation seemed to be irrelevant, since I was prompted to choose my memories almost immediately. I throw them in the fire, and the day ends. I expected to have to wait for the day to pass with the fire dying in real time, choosing memories to throw in at the right moments.
VISUALS: Simple, perhaps juvenile, but fits the atmosphere well.
AUDIO: Normally, I'd request music, but for a game about loneliness, a barren soundtrack fits. One effect I'd like to see is a 'roar' when the fire feeds.
THEME: Most people take a mechanical approach to the 'everything', but you've taken a narrative one here, and I quite enjoyed it.
