I didn't expect much when going into your game because of the initial simple art style, but man it was FUN! It took me a bit to figure out the exact controls (like noticing that the player automatically picks up the closest item), but once i got that going it was smooth. It's great that you can throw absolutely everything but the map border, even the people 😂. The different lines the boss said added a nice flavour aswell.

I ran out of items a lot so the mid to end pacing of the fight could be improved.

I had a technical issue, your game is not optimzied for widescreen when played in fullscreen, that lead me to not seeing the health bar for the first few minutes i played 😂

What I would recommend you is to add a dash that would allow you to break free in case the enemy corners you and multiple fights with increasing challenge.

If you would have had more time, what would you have changed or added?

All in all, very good job!

Thank you so much for the kind words and thoughtful feedback!
I'm really glad you enjoyed it, especially that you had fun with the chaos.

You're absolutely right, I should have added a quick tutorial before jumping into the fight, and the pacing definitely has room for improvement. I really like your idea about adding a dash move, I’ll keep that in mind!

I actually had many more ideas, but time ran out faster than I expected. Originally, the game wasn’t supposed to be just a single boss fight, it was meant to be a boss rush with different enemies and themed objects for each level. I would have also added more gameplay variety to how each item behaves.

Thanks again for playing and taking the time to write such a great comment, I really appreciate it! <3
