So it looks like there are no actual animated spicy scenes in this game? They're 2-3 just static renders per scene? WHy do the Dev updates say there are so many animations?

Prior to v0.6.6, there were no animations in the game, but a few are coming in v0.6.6. It's a new thing.
V0.6.6 will be available this week on Subscribe Star, and in about two weeks here on Itch.
