This is really cool I've always wanted to make a game like this, the UI and sound is great, but couple of parts of this game are slow. I also spent a while scanning before dying so I didn't realize I would be able to buy upgrades initially to speed things up because I thought I would have to start over. The scanning feels very slow and having to do it repeatedly felt like a checklist to do just to fill time, I would recommend maybe making it a mini game and speeding it up, because you also have to wait or move to get to new fish to scan as well and that can make the game monotonous. Aside from the that this game feels very well made much more substantial than I would have expected from a one week jam.

Hi, thanks for playing! Yes I do understand that point a lot and actually set for myself, that in the next Jam I am going to concetrate on fun gameplay first and then build around that more than the other way around.  I do think the slow pace in general matches well with the theme and ocean but still could have increased the fun with more gameplay elements, yes!
