I'll post back in a year or so how it went. It's play by post so it will be a bit slow.

We're using Maze Rats magic tables for the names of spell books, and making Erudite rolls to figure out what the books are good for. I'm thinking I'll let the magician eventually make Erudite rolls to come up with names for new spells from the tables, not needing books anymore ... or maybe they can pick words from the book titles to make up new spells. Yeah, that's good.
