How’s it going? Any luck?

I was thinking along the same lines. One thought I had was that the party could lose all their Fellowship dice for doing this as a way to make it costly so you wouldn’t even consider doing it against an Uruk Hai (against a cave troll it might be helpful!). But I also don’t want the group to feel like Voltron where they can just “join forces” and overcome any obstacle. It’s tricky to thread the needle. Maybe some foes are just beyond you.
Looking at creatures like the Nazghul or Mumakil with DS of 20+, you could certainly tackle those with a specific magic weapon designed for them, but I’m looking at a home brew rule. What if players could add one dice plus their bonus for each member of the fellowship to attack a single enemy, needing one Fellowship point for each member? Four members could roll four dice plus their bonus to coordinate an attack on a single enemy. If they succeed, they use one fellowship point and if they fail, they lose all they “wagered”. Thoughts?
You don't have to apologize! You created it and can do what you want with it! I tried translation software but it did a poor job. That was a few years ago though, so maybe it's better now. Shame to lose the aesthetic, though. If you do translate it, I'll be the first download, and happy to re-buy it for the effort.
