enemies have enough health compared to the player's many attack options atleast in my opinion. there is no specific puzzle to solve in the level, you just go left. idk wdym by saying the player is not able to jump onto platforms, have you tried pressing the jump button? idk what your definition of platformer game genre, but I think as long that you can move left and right and jump to avoid attacks and land on different places then I consider it a platformer.
