Description
This... Why. I can't even describe the disaster it was to even get this thing finished, because I had my life to take care of and also have been juggling another EP so my views on the music to make for the jam this is a submission to was kind of corrupted in the first place because all I could make was glitchy IDM-ish ambient, and not atmospheric ambient like I had planned. So.. I had to make these two songs I was gonna make a third or fourth but I literally never had the time, I was starting to make a drum rack with sounds I made on the KORG NTS-2 Oscilloscope and a Synth Tone, which never got even used because time. So yayy, that will just go into the EP that is already poisoned with an identity crisis. But try to enjoy this, I wanted to submit something.

I really like your sound design and choices, there's many pleasing textures throughout the tracks. I really like the concept you had here too, I find it interesting and I think you captured it well! Thanks for sharing these tracks despite not having enough time for the entirety of the EP, they were nice to listen to!
Like in my honest opinion the music I submitted here, doesn't even correlate to the theme, but thanks for the feedback and positivity :)
And I'd like to know your favourite track of the two :)
It's hard to for me to choose a favorite haha, I personally like 1 most due to the specific glitchy elements, textures and timbres, but my favorite from the perspective of Brian Eno's definition of ambience, I would say I like 2 more as an ambient track if that makes sense
Fair.
Although I'm gonna just add here, i do not even remember how I made some of the glitch effects, might've been me playing with my line in cord and essentially creating a ground loop with pings in it, and that's how I made them but then again I could've just also done some extra weird stuff.
Like sometimes I make songs that are sound design pieces and other times songs.
