To not Spoil it completely the Looping forest Journal Page 17 (its one of the earlier)has an info how to access it.

Tips for the Void forest Bring an axe(hut basement) and cut down the 3 colored trees (without true sight the range is very small from which you can see them)

See I thought page 17 would lead somewhere, I just couldn't find initial marker. I'll have to go back and give it more attempts. Thanks!

To me the hint reads to go from an orange tree to a red one, and these are supposed to be in the lost forest? I can't find them anywhere here.

The Orange one is upwards from the forest hut stand on top of it (very important)from there follow the Page direction and stand on top of the red one after following the the diary directions again you will be teleported after set distance ( its a trial of error there are no slimes along the path so its safe to try)

Note: there are 2 red tree one bring you to the Void forest(following real life magnetic direction) the Other to the Painted forest(following Looped Forest magnetic directions)
