Aesthetic-wise, I can dig it.
Gameplay-wise, it's a complete mess right now that shows just how far away from completion this game is. Right now it's sort of functional and that's all we can ask for at the moment, but the clunkiness REQUIRES tweaks and polish.
All character animations are infuriatingly sluggish especially attack animations as they leave you unreasonably open on the wind up, especially Melody's low attack; the long get up animation after being grabbed on can also ensure you getting chain grabbed as the enemy has already recovered as is moving again. The hitboxes are incredibly off, you should be able to jump over small enemies but out of all the times I've tried you can't. Roll should be it's own binding on a separate key and not S+D, the amount of times I've had to quickly crouch down to catch a small enemy only for the character to roll instead is infuriating. Random enemy placement is just impossible to play around, pretty much chalks up runs to praying for reasonable enemy placement rng.
Listen, I know that this is still a WIP and that we all bought this game for the graphics, but if you lock stuff like the gallery for game completion then you need to make sure the game itself is squared up by the time it's completed.
