All updates for the paid version are free. That means once you purchase the game, there’s nothing else to buy—just download the updates when they’re released.
I don’t release small or frequent updates. I prefer to release a full new act at once. Yes, it takes time, but I don’t want to split an act into multiple parts and release them as separate updates. It breaks the story and the overall experience of the game.
That's better than having a dev who opens a second game to buy for every new update.
Also I believe I wanted to know if that means this is just an update and you won't get it for free in the end.
I will be honest I probably watch more games than what i can buy at once . If it convinces me of course I buy.
For now I just take another look to see what game it was again on this screen I see nothing.
All updates in the current season will be free. When you buy the game, you're getting the entire first season, which consists of 4 acts (2 are currently available, and Act 3 is in development). Acts 3 and 4 of the first season will become available immediately upon completion — you'll just need to download the updates, and that's it.
Maybe I just don't ask right because it's not exactly what I want to know but for now it's alright.
You should really let the game start in english what probably most can read. I was affraid I might accidently open a link that some dev love to put in there.
edit: My mistake, I think seeing it different (smaller) and reading again I understood it better.
Okay I played the first season and the game seems pretty much alright so far, have to see how the drama resolves itself.
So if I want more I have to buy it now right? Normally I planned to wait until the product is complete, how much is there planed?, how far are we already?
What i tried to ask last time, some games offer early access but still update for free, that helps if you can't just push the money everywhere, I just got curious what this situation is.
From what I'm guessing right now, the free stuff stops at season 1 and everythin else will cost, i just have to get that clear. That should be my last post unless i don't understand you, english is not my main language.

I am interessted, but I'm unsure if I have enough to buy just about everything I see, so it would help knowing if you have the intention of having the full product only as a paid version.
How it works on Itch.io can be a bit confusion and I assume that was what I tried to figure out a week or two ago.
Some devs simply release it as a full free verion at some point from the looks of it.
I am not asking what I get, I can read that from the coment I'm responding to so I read at least that again.
I just need to know if you won't give any free updates at some point anymore.

The free version will not be updated. Only Act 1 will be available for free. The remaining acts will be accessible after purchasing the game.
As I mentioned earlier, after purchasing the game, all upcoming acts of Season 1 (Acts 1–4) will become available as they are released. You’ll just need to download the updates. All other details I’ve explained above.
You can wait until Season 1 is fully completed and buy the game then, or you can purchase it now — it makes no difference. In either case, you’ll get full access to Season 1 (all 4 acts).

Hey I think they suddenly removed adult games completely and I only planned on thinking if I wanted to wait until season 1 was finished and planned to buy it today, it's suddenly gone. Do you have this on steam? I don't know if you see my email adress here or what, but I kinda hope for a key now, that means I will be unable to buy this anywhere now. I can't image patreon being safe at least for me.
edit: I have to correct myself, the first game I clicked on was suddenly gone somehow and I can still find this from my libary. I just don't know if that will work out fine with what suddenly happened and these payment people situation we have where they go after adult games from what I remember.
