It's a funny story. Short answer: no.

Long answer: Originally the game was called Pac-Man 37 because I started making it on Pac-Man's 37th anniversary. When my friend and I started working on putting the game into a full-size arcade cabinet, calling the game Pac-Man 37 seemed weird, so we came up with the name Megamix instead, for obvious reasons. Shortly after we started calling it that, we designed and printed artwork and logos for the cabinet. A little after that happened, Cruise Elroy, the person who was making another Pac-Man fan game by the title Pac-Man Megamix, contacted me to see what was going on.

I felt terrible and was in no way trying to take the name from his own fan project, but we had already printed a marquee and vinyl sidings for a full-size arcade cabinet at that point, which is expensive, so we couldn't change the name. So we just decided that the arcade cabinet version of this game would remain as "Megamix" but the PC version would be Pac-Man 37.

It's still confusing, but I hope this clears things up. Megamix is another game that Cruise Elroy was working on. Pac-Man 37 is the official title of this game. :)

This is funny, he understood your question and gave you the absolute best, most comprehensive answer possible, and you completely failed to read/comprehend it.

Don't ever change, internet.

Actually, I DID Read It, So It's No Use Being Toxic. Who Would've Thought?
