Its an interesting game and i enjoy the world and story but i cant help feeling that the mc is... useless? they lack any form of agency and cant seem to do anything themself, i know they dont understand the world around them but it really feels like you could give the mark to any of the other characters and there would be no point to the mc. also the personality system locks in a little too early for my tastes
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on The Last Divine with me! Having the personality system lock in too soon was a concern for me, so I may consider extending that further depending on if that's the general consensus/experience people have when playing. And I understand how MC could come off as lacking agency in the beginning. This will change as MC grows and comes into their own (both in terms of their Divine Dominion and in being allowed the freedom to explore who they are beyond the walls of the tower). A major theme in TLD is "who the world tells you that you are" vs. "who you choose to be". It will be clearer how this is at play in later chapters as MC gains agency :)
