Remember that you need to tag your work correctly if they use any generative AI as per content creator quality guidelines

Hi. Sure. But it's not AI-generated.
For this pack I'm using https://captain4lk.itch.io/slk-img2pixel, and then rework it by the hand.  That's why it's taking so long to make updates.

I don't deny that the tool was used to pixelise them but the source pictures are generative AI which still would need to be classified as such via the guidelines.

Yes, some of the refs are partially AI-generated and were severely edited.
I don't mind to place AI tag, it doesn't make any difference, but:
It is the same as if I would use someone's work and reworked it to the extent that it is not considered as a plagiarism. So, in that case, I wouldn't need to credit the author, and my work would be original. So, if the author of the original reference images was an AI, should I credit it? And why, if you can't prove that it was created by the AI and no one can make any legal claims etc.? It was reworked twice and doesn't remind the original AI-generated image.

Again, I don't mind placing a tag, and I'm not trying to start a holy war or something, but this is the question we need to start to raise at this very moment. Couple of years and everything will be created with AI at some extent.

Like, you take some reference image from Google, and then repaint it, and it just happens to be AI-generated. Do you need a tag? Or, you ask chatGPT to make you a story for your game. Do you need a tag? Or you're just using Copilot for coding. Do you need a tag? And if you don't, why is that? And if you do, where's the line?
Just asking some questions. It will be very important in the near future, when everything goes to s.

and why, if you can't prove that it was created by the AI and no one can make any legal claims etc.?
People who purchase something deserve to know if it's made by something they dislike morally or don't wish to use.

Good, as you should for all of your assets. The rest is conjecture.

Yes

Covered in the guidelines I linked, it's currently limited to text, images and music.

"People who purchase something deserve to know if it's made by something they dislike morally or don't wish to use."
Ah, you meant all of that in that way...No probs then. I'm not interested to have any collisions with folks=) Just still not sure whether all this anti-AI movement is a thing or not.
But, just take for granted, that everything is made with AI. We're just scratching the surface here, I mean, while using the tools available for the public. Basically, everything from Google to your Internet provider is driven by AI.

I am not anti AI myself, I just believe it should be indicated when it is used as there are a lot of people that would want to know and also to follow the guidelines on the site so content doesn't get removed

I'd recommend adding it to other packages too

Heh, I am=) Kinda... Would love not to use it, because it kills all the fun, and pleasure, and desire, and meaning. But people just stopped to buy handmade assets for reasonable price, and I'm making a living selling assets.

Yeah, other packs were tagged like a year ago.
