Yea, i wrote that something like this would be a possible answer. But than again, thats a lot for a single night preparation time. And with what reasoning for the Hamiltons? I mean, did she make a phonecall "hey, can you deliver some food? I need to impress the founder Boy your family is after so he dosnt notice im only pretending to be rich" ? That would be way out of character for her to swallow her pride this hard. I belive she would rather starve to death than do something like that. Even if she dosnt use those words, she still would have to admit it.

Thats why im so curious about this smal detail.

She could have ordered it from some random place. Kinda as an investment. But in this case, i bet Cozy Creator would have let the MC notice some packaging somewere because she is unable to conceal it. And if MC got such a proof, he could literaly crush her ego. Everyone knows. But as long as she can play pretend, she is save in her own world.

But hey, its also possible that i think way to much into that scene. On the other hand, Cozy kinda has a habbit to bring up small details later XD

You forgot the part where Mary is working directly with her brother, Mr Hamilton, to get the MC to marry into their family first. When she sees them the night before, they even talk about how she probably was already calling him as she walked away from Catherine's room. It isn't about swallowing pride- its about capitalizing on a situation that can play directly into their hand. And getting the meals there isn't difficult if you have a kitchen staff you can just wake up early and request breakfast to go.

I haven't checked myself, but you may want to look at the breakfast plates vs the plates used for lunch during the council meeting. I have a feeling they may be the same.

I just checked. They are not the same. Even though, there are not that many to see at the meeting, its clearly different.

Also I think it would be a crazy amount of work to add different plates for all households. I guess thats why its usualy plain white plates. But nevertheless, you might still be on to something just because they are not plain white. That could be a strong hint. Because, the evening before, when MC made pancakes, the plates were white. The same as in the Cafe btw.

Im just not fully convinced that she ordered the food from the Hamiltons. Such a plain meal from their kitchen? But than again, it might just be a stock food asset Cozy used.
