There is a technical gap between the free demo from 2021 and the current version of 2025, and some old laptop with no integrated GPU don't handle the latest one.
If your computer can't handle it, please reach out for https://itch.io/support, I can't refund you on my own, but should they reach out for me to check the facts, I'll explain to them what's up.

It's a desktop I'm using with a fairly old nvidia card. I transferred the same download to my linux laptop and this also doesn't start even when I degrade the quality and resolution options. However, this is a dual boot machine and when I swap to windows it does work. It's inconvenient because I hate windows but now playable so I will keep it and use it in that form. Thanks for the reply.
