Cool take, I like the groove very DK64, nice structure, I like the use of the motifs, maybe its just me but I would find or add another sound on top of the melody doubling it to give a bit more presence. Solid take in general, can the mix be a bit better, yeah probably but at the same time it stills feels retro and it has its charm. The loop works also i've tested it a bit, well done !
