First of all, I love the fact that it's kind of Ocarina of Time-like, well at least for Verdant Green.

Verdant Red is like the steroid driven Gran Turismo background track during a chaotic race-like.

Both share aspects, which I like.

So for me it's great.

The motif was audibly used in Verdant Green, but Verdant Red was audibly less focused on it.

But, It was a likeable set of tracks.

Thank you for the comment! I definitely get what you mean with Verdant Red focusing on the motif less, in my head I didn't want to have both tracks use the motif directly as-is for main melodies so it got put more in the background and the melodic content was mostly motif inspired rather than directly using it.
