Hi hi! That could be an interesting option for sure, I will take note of it, adding a flare shape toggle wouldn't be hard to do. I'll have to look at some of those references for some inspiration. I should be working on updates/fixes to the equine asset some time next week probably after an upcoming release is done!

Well, I decided to go ahead and buy it to really see how it compares to the other one I was looking at. The messy look in the picture doesn't really convey how it actually looks, so I'm happy with how it looks on my end, but I do have a couple suggestions that may be doable.
For one, I'd really like an option to be able to adjust the length of the shaft. I understand that could really be a problem with bone dynamics, so I'm not sure of the best way to go about that. The one I already have that I planned to upgrade from had an option to adjust the thickness of the medial ring. That shouldn't be too hard to add to this one. I might try adding that blendshape in Blender myself, but see what you think about the idea.
The suggestion for adjusting the shape of the tip is, I think, still the best suggestion for visual improvement. It would also support a wider variety of equine character designs.
Oh! one issue I've noticed every time I've tried to use Thicc Water, the emitter seems to be different for "shoot" than every other emitter. I can get all the other ones properly aligned with the hole, but the "shoot" emitter always starts a little farther out. Any idea how I'd fix this if it's something I'm doing wrong on my end?
One last note, I did notice there are sounds in this one, but I haven't gotten to the point of testing it yet, but the other one I was looking at has "Cumflation SFX", which I think would be really appropriate for an equine cock to have. If yours doesn't already have that, it could be a great and easy to add addition.

I'll look into extra shapekey options in the future, that's some great input, though I'm not 100% sure how I'd go about making it longer, the SPS plug might also have issues with that, but I have to look into if that involves bone scale or if it'll be fine if I alter the position of bones instead.
As for shoot, I'm not sure, I've noticed that too, it might have something to do with their particle setups, did you try placing just that emitter further back than the others?
It shouldn't have any sound that I know of, wonder where that one's coming from - but cumflation sounds like an interesting one to add as well!
