What do you get from being hypnotized and beating the two oni at once? I haven't been able to progress story for 2 years because I am too stubborn and want to defeat them both while hypnotized.
Generous to call it "romance". It's a pet on a leash by someone so paranoid they would strip your free will and perception of reality. I'd hazard calling it more professional gaslighting. Buff adds a lot of extra damage from attacks, attacks targeting virility will get cranked as well. It's just not economical to even submit for metagaming. The trance counter, is half the time, and some attacks still do go through. Overall, the sweetest user of "trance" is tabitha. Still weaponized, but not ruthlessly in a way that encourages you to shave them bald before feeding them to jora...
