I would prefer werewolves as you might typically think of them: turning into either an anthro wolf or full wolf form. But, if you want to do just wolf ears and a tail, I don't think I'd stop you as this jam is meant for fun.
However: if you do just go with ears/tails/teeth and not a full wolf form, I would encourage you to incorporate some of the other werewolf tropes alongside that to enhance the werewolf vibes of your story. That would be things like, turning on a full moon, being affected by a full moon, having a mate, having a pack, maybe even knotting or something? (This is a SEXY jam, after all...) Maybe even consider giving your character more fur/hair on them when they transform or like, a cute little doggy nose or claws, y'know. :D
