Hey man, I just wanted to reach out - I’ve cannibalized bunch of Downrooted and want to report how it’s going.
Short summary: I’m using the Into the Wyrd and Wild rules to run a forest megadungeon. I have the Erstwald in there as a “site”. Like it’s a sort of mystery place that is a point on a map, but also the depth crawl in the book. Time and space are weird out here.
But I’ve also populated the woods with Shaper dungeons, for a few reasons: one, fast travel through the mycellium network; but two, to give them something alien out here in the strange forest.
So far it’s going really well.
