hey thx for playing my game. and i really appreciate you pointing out the thing you didn't like in the game and i am sorry for that as i didn't had any play testers during the duration of the jam to test whether the things i implemented were good or not.    now coming to your confusion related to the game.

1. you did make it to the end  and got the only ending as their is only one ending.

2.  i had written a story for the game in which the player starts his journey to the END (as the literal end of game.) with hamilton and the creator. the journey starts in the first level named 1.     and then the middle of the story is not told and the only level you can play after 1 is the end level (named 5) in which you kill hamilton in order to reach the end and the creator is trying to stop you by taking your control from you and the emojis appearing on hamilton when you stand on the platform is a way of communication between the player and hamilton(which didn't work as your comments states).

3. so basically it is a story in which you can only play the start and the end and after killing hamilton you reach the end (named 8). so thank you so much for my game and stating what you liked and didn't like. i would also love to play your game but i am actually travelling due which i have connection problem but will surely play you game when i get the chance.

Ohh, that makes sense - thank you for explaining things!

Somehow I didn't notice the first time that Hamilton's emojis were different in the two levels, but see that now when checking it out again. In level 1 Hamilton seems happy to see you (although curious what the eye roll and zipped mouth mean, maybe rolling eyes because of the CreatoR's narration and zipping mouth indicating knowledge of the upcoming events). In level 5 Hamilton seems heartbroken, sad, and resentful for what the player is about to do.

I do really love this game's style with all the fun details, like the building dropping in, the dynamic FOV based on movement speed, the delay with "run" before Hamilton abruptly explodes. Enjoy your travels.

hey, how are you. i am writing this post to you because i was actually working on a new prototype of this game. so would you like to playtest it.
