Nice job pushing your tech forward! I hope you learned something and that it helps your next iterations even better. Alas, I got stuck on the mine entrance and couldn't figure out what to do. My dreams of becoming the ultimate necromancer killing machine will have to go unanswered for now.

My bad there was supposed to be something to help you figure that out. Throw a dagger at the lock.

Got it! You could maybe also outline the dagger sprite in white in an image tool like a cave drawing and paste those a few near the lock. That might work, too.

This time I got to the edgelord boss but when he reaches the door up top, it seemed outside my jump height. Curse you edgelord! Using physics to my downfall...

I added dialogue from the Blacksmith spelling it out, just too late to push it.

Yeah that's intended. If you load up the game again, it should have saved right outside his entrance. I only had a little while to create and tweak his jumping AI. That was done second-to-last day. To get out you have to defeat him, which opens up an area of the map the camera won't reveal until his death. But once you get the jump boots to get out of there, that's really as far as I got in the level building. Though you can collect a few more hearts.

Dang deadlines.
Great job getting that much done as a team of one!

Thank you very much. As disappointed as I am that I didn't get farther, I am happy that I got as far as I did this jam.

If you're interested, I just put up a very comprehensive devlog: https://dragonforge-development.itch.io/eternal-echoes/devlog/968561/post-mortem...
