This is a very cool entry. First and foremost, the music is excellent -- I stopped at the title screen and just listened to it play through. Upon starting the game I was very disoriented and it took me a while to get my bearings as to the rules of this universe and its objectives, and I mean all of that in a positive way. It was fun to figure out and it all felt otherworldly. I played it to the end and enjoyed it. Upon playing a second time, I figured out the fast-movement mechanic (I spent the first play slowly dodging), and that was a nice as well. The post-end romp was also fun. The "overclocked" image was a funny take on the difficulty an NES would have had with this (my browser, Firefox/Mac, actually popped up a message about the memory use or similar while the game was loading, but it did ultimately load and play smoothly).
