Good job! This game is really fun and the visuals are quite charming, very polished. The black&white aesthetic (with a bit of color here and there) is lovely.

I accidentally blazed through the section where the game introduced us to flipping the direction of the ball. I somehow managed to reach the locked door without it but then I was stuck as I didn’t know you can flip the direction of the ball. Things became easier once I discovered that!

Though I guess you had your reasons but I wonder if it could have been possible to allow the player to rotate the direction of the swing passed 90° to throw it in the opposite direction?

Also I think it isn’t super clear if the strength of the shot solely come from the distance of the club and how much of the speed of the swing matters. As your game page description suggests though, chaos is part of the design choices so I guess a bit of unpredictability is okay.

Anyway, good job! This is a really cool game you made. Congrats!!!

Thanks for the detailed feedback!

Good to know! Will redesign the tutorial part again to really force the player to use the controls that are introduced.

The controls definitely need some love post jam. We tried to go with a full 180 degree range, but encountered to many bugs and had to go with the „simple“ implementation for the time being. Will give it another shot and go trial and error from there to enhance it!

To clarify, the strength is currently determined thought the clubs speed right before you hit the ball. It doesn’t matter how far you swing it.

Thank you! :)
